One of the greatest gifts in life is the gift of creativity. The ability to come up with an original, “one of a kind,” piece of art work, which gives me great pleasure.

From the age of 10, art was my escape. I started my art experience at “The Art Students’ League,” in New York City, every Saturday thru high school graduation. I attended, “The Maryland Institute College of Art,” (MICA), where I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in art education.

I wanted to expose children to the same wonderful experience in art that I had. So, I taught in Anne Arundel Public Schools for 32+ years.  After retiring from public education I  taught for 10 years at a school for emotionally disturbed children from P.G. and Washington D.C. I'm finally just doing my art.

ALL my work today is SLAB HAND BUILT. I find inspiration working with clay. My functional crab and fish pottery has lots of texture, color, design that achieve rhythm, contrast, balance and variety of colors and tactile texture.

All my pottery has HAND BRUSHED glazes to create an outstanding variety of rich and vibrant colors.

My functional pottery can be used every day or just enjoyed. The pottery can be used to bake in the oven, in the microwave and you can clean it in the dishwasher.  ALL is lead free. Pottery makes a home warm and homey.

I do approx. 10 shows a year in Florida. Check my calendar for my shows. Plus you can buy some pieces of everything  the Rare Earth Gallery in Stuart, Florida.

THANK YOU MY FRIENDS AND PATRONS FOR SUPPORTING MY ART.  HAPPY NEW YEAR and Stay Healthy.
